The Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society is an organization for persons interested in transparent watercolor.

The primary purpose is to advance the stature of watercolor as a major medium through education and to foster the appreciation of both the artist and the viewing public.

To encourage this, the activities of the Society include:

  • Monthly meetings presenting demonstrations and lectures by nationally and regionally known artists.
  • Semi-annual workshops by major artists.
  • The publication of a monthly newsletter to share and inform efforts and interests in watercolor.
  • Sponsoring two annually juried exhibitions at prominent Western New York galleries.
